Midtown Radio Dramas

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Every Sunday at 7pm on midtownradio.ca

Tune-in every Sunday during November and December to listen to our series of original radio dramas. All of these plays were made possible with a grant from the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund. They feature local writers, directors, and performers.

This season we recorded the series live in front of a studio audience at The Apollo Cinema.

Broadcast schedule for 2023 season:

Nov. 12 - No Public Transit, 54th Ave - by Heather Morrow

Three strangers become unlikely friends and help one another through the pandemic.

Nov. 19 - And Then She Tasted Cerulean Blue - by Paddy Gillard-Bentley

In a silent, empty theatre, a single light keeps the darkness at bay. In the middle of the stage, it shines and calls a gathering of The Ghost Light Society.
